The Sanskrit term ‘Vinyasa’ means ‘to place in a special way’ and is about enjoying flowing sequences of postures where movement is linked and led by the breath.
We can observe Vinyasa off the mat and within nature too - consider the underlying harmony within the ebb and flow of the tides, the change in seasons or in the poetic nature of a piece of music.
Vinyasa inspired classes encourage you to find the inherent harmonious flow within and, in turn, more freedom within the mind, body and breath.
